Little Blossom Early Learning Centre

Our approach

Learning happens in the little moments.

A puddle, a song, a shared snack, a tower that falls. At Little Blossom, these are the moments where children grow — and where our educators lean in.

Learning through play

We believe children learn best through play. Learning-through-play experiences are planned for every day, across every room.

02

Relationships & belonging

Respectful, meaningful and strong relationships give children the confidence to explore, whilst feeling safe, secure and nurtured.

Every child, individually

We focus on the individual needs of each child — following their interests, pace and personality.

04

Curiosity & exploration

Sensory resources, hands-on creativity, songs and stories invite children to wonder about their world.

Social & emotional growth

Parallel and group play, one-on-one moments and singing together build confidence, communication and a sense of self.

Olive Blossom

Our small and unique room allows our infants to freely and supportively explore their new world, through age-appropriate sensory-based resources, hands-on creativity, songs and stories.

We prioritise creating respectful, meaningful and strong relationships with our infants, ensuring they have the confidence to explore their world, whilst feeling safe, secure and nurtured. Through collaborative partnerships with families, we assist in strengthening children's sense of belonging and, as a result, their ability to develop and blossom.

Cherry Blossom

Cherry Blossom supports children's creative thinking, whilst incorporating numerous skills to establish social, emotional and cognitive development.

Throughout the day, educators enhance and direct children to engage in parallel and group play, fostering their confidence in being part of a group and developing their sense of belonging. Educators take every opportunity to develop verbal and social communication skills — one-on-one moments, singing in a group, reading stories and exploring simple verbal instructions.

Apple Blossom

Our Apple Blossom educators actively work with children to develop and establish new interests whilst promoting social and emotional development.

The 2–3 year-olds are continuously supported to achieve new goals. We believe children learn best through play, so numerous learning-through-play experiences are planned, promoting key learning areas such as literacy, numeracy, science, communication skills and socio-emotional development.

Orange Blossom

A child's confidence is crucial when entering the new “big school” environment. Our Orange Blossom room strengthens a child's independence and confidence.

We are proud of our unique program, which focuses on preparing children for school — and of course, life! All our children are given learning opportunities that equip them for school, and the Orange Blossom environment strengthens these, incorporating experiences they will meet when arriving at school.
